Larry and I have been watching this clip nicktheviv posted on YouTube from Jane Horrocks’ show, “Never Mind the Horrocks,” repeatedly. Do you need to smile? It’s only 35 seconds, and well worth it. (Unless you watch it hundreds of thousands of times, giggling like a ticklish baby.) Check it out to see just how sophisticated our senses of humor are. My favorite is her second face. I’ve been practicing in the mirror. If I ever nail it, I’ll post a pic.

Anyway, it sure beats the bullshit Rep. Sally Kern has been vomiting. She’s right, though. It is a dandy lifestyle. That’s all I’m gonna’ say about that for now. After I stew for a while, I may have more.

Simultaneous cruelty and proof that I’m an old fart: Book TV promised a 15 minute special on the Virginia Festival of the Book at 10:45 central time, only to skip it all together. To punish C-Span, I switched to Chiller and am watching the re-make of The Blob. It seems I’m only punishing myself.
